I've installed Red Hat 8 on my laptop and I'm quite pleased with GNOME
2, but I still want to install enlightenment as alternative window
manager.
When I install the enlightenment-0.16.5-1 RPM for i386 it yells the
following at me:
error: Failed dependencies:
fnlib >= 0.5 is needed by enlightenment-0.16.5-1
libFnlib.so.0 is needed by enlightenment-0.16.5-1
libImlib.so.1 is needed by enlightenment-0.16.5-1
Installing imlib-1.9.13-9.i386.rpm for libFnlib.so.0 results in:
package imlib-1.9.13-9 is already installed
Installing fnlib-0.5-9.i386.rpm for fnlib results in libImlib.so.1 is
needed by fnlib-0.5-9
It's seems I'm kind of stuck in a loop. Does anyone know how I can get
out of this? Please remember that I'm quite new to Linux.
Kind regards,
LionMaster
