The May MUUG meeting is to be held at the University of Manitoba, in room 234B Engineering. The meeting is set to start at the usual time - 7:30 PM, on Tuesday, May 12, 1992. The meeting will begin with the usual round table discussion, followed by a brief business meeting. Items on the agenda include the status of our UniForum affiliation (which is in the works), and the new MUUG Online service. After the break, the presented topic is The Future of UNIX at Intel. Our guest speaker is Jon Coxworth, Architect Manager, Intel Corporation (Ottawa). Jon will be discussing the chip wars, RISC vs CISC controversy, where Intel sees the future, and what the company is doing toward that goal. Everyone is welcome to attend.
