Actually, you know, French is not awfully widely used in California. English, Spanish, and Cantonese have all been spoken here for a very long time, Vietnamese and Mandarin are used here now by large numbers of people, and local to me we have Russian, Hindi, Korean and Yiddish speaking communities. As a child, I spoke German, and can recall neighborhoods in which Italian was the principal vehicle of communication. I hope you are not just trying to exacerbate our problems by introducing yet another language... Al Moore
