|We have a sun which we would like to act as a site mail hub.  We would like  it
|to  recognise its own address as SCP.AC.UK.  We would also like it to recognise
|its own name as ASH.SCP.AC.UK.  We have some local hosts  on  ethernet  but  we
|also have two hosts which can only be reached on X25.

|So far, we seem to have mail to  SCP.AC.UK  and  ASH.SCP.AC.UK  and  our  local
|ethernet  hosts  working  fine.  The problem is in getting ASH to relay mail to
|the X.25 hosts via JANET.

[ I do not use UK-2.1 so this may be miles off - this is experience
from UK-1.4++ ]

You probably need to list your two X.25-only hosts explicitly in
<machine>.janet.chn:

uk.ac.scp.odd1	uk.ac.scp.odd1
uk.ac.scp.odd2	uk.ac.scp.odd2
