Couldn't help but notice that the "Datatrakpos" name sounds a heck of a lot
like the "EZTouchPOS" name, and that email address is a sales address.

Hello, *I* am Lee Jenkins and I definitely did not write that.  For anyone
who is interested, please do a google group search for "Lee Jenkins" or
"lee"  or "datatrak" on any Delphi group and you will see that I have NEVER
posted anything but technical questions or answers on Delphi related or any
other newsgroup.  As for VB, we dropped that crappy compiler 2 1/2 years ago
when we ported over to Delphi.

Whoever DID write that post, please be intelligent enough to make it look
like I actually wrote it.  For instance, its EzTouchPOS and not "EZTouchPOS"
(with an uppercase Z).  Also, its DataTrak Business Solutions, Co., we never
refer to ourselves as "Datatrakpos", that is just the URL to our website.
If you program the way you try to impose yourself as me, I can see why you
are motivated to futile actions such as this.

Actually, while you're at it, why don't you just make your product better
instead of trying to vilify ours?  As a matter of fact, if you are who I
think you are, then that $750,000.00 restaurant chain deal that we won over
you is just a prelude of things to come.  And you're number one dealer
jumped ship because your product is so buggy, just because we pursued him.
We will continue to eat up market share because we do in fact, have a
superior product.  Try listening to your customers and writing your software
a little better (and while you're at it, use these newsgroups for advise and
help as they are meant to be used) and you might not get so frustrated that
you feel compelled to write idiotic postings such as the one above.

To everyone else, I will not say I am sorry for the original post because I
did not write it.  I will say that I apologize that you have to see idiotic
postings such as the one above.  It is not a ploy to bring people to my
website.  If that were the purpose, I would not use technical newsgroups for
a product meant for end user restaurant owners and corporations.

Thank you.  We've been having problems with two particular competitors
playing some very nasty ploys because (I assume) we are rapidly gaining in
popularity and market share in the restaurant point of sale industry.  Of
course, it may not have been anyone connected with them...but I don't what
else would motivate a person to write something so asinine.
