So what you are saying is that the idiotically imprecise phrases used when you were in elementary school are somehow satisfactory for use here as an adult (ostensibly)? What a joke! I also have to question the quality fo the school you attended - I'm not an old man, but thte elementary and secodnary schools *I* attended contained a great dael of materails regarding North American aboriginal peoples, their origins, and we were certainly never taught that Europeans 'discovered' a damn thing. > You knew exactly what I > meant, but to write this was a good way for you to remember everybody > about your limited use of your brain, as usual. Look who's talking, Mr Defect. We have a problem with your posts that needs to be examined. In your sentence above, you use the word 'remember' instead of 'remind' - in this case, it was clear what your addled little mind was thinking. However, given your rather scurrilous views on other things, and the fact that your newspaper is a rag, it was far from clear that you meant 'the French did most of the Eurpoean exploration of North America and first' when you said that the 'Canada was discovered by Frenchmen.' I took it as a slight against Native peoples and thought you a puke. You've given no one any reason to have any other view of you. > At school, were you the little silly guy always making this kind of > intelligent (hmm) remarks? > I'd bet so. If so, he we the guy paying attention to what was being said. For a journalist, you sure don't seem to be too interested in accuracy and precision. -- "Don't talk to me about naval tradition. It's nothing but rum, sodomy and the lash" -- Sir Winston Churchill
