Okay Sheila, if I may ask.....Just why have you stayed out until now? And what
caused you to come in at this time?

I've killfiled a couple of posters.  And I know of quite a few who've claimed
that I'm in their killfiles.  It's generally not because of offensive posings,
or even annoying postings.  Killfiling is generally used to block out a high
volume of posts in which one has no interest whatsoever. 

The CCNutcase goes much further, making it impossible to simply ignore her.

A typical example is the GASOLINE PRICE RANT thread which started here recently.
CCNut came into that thread with an insane diatribe on something which exists
only inside her head. Here's a snippet of it from which you may judge for
yourself:

I see at least there is equality; there is no discrimination, no double
standard. Out there it costs as much for a woman to fill-up as it does
men. MEANWHILE in here I see that the price of crude has increased, as
if nobody would notice, for a woman, but not for men - 'course that's the
same as out there. As the man in robes would say, it's the saaaame sound.

Women are not only denied an equal voice to that of men; but, as Lydia
Lunch notes: "Women are denied masturbation even more severely than men
... that's another method of *control* [my emphasis] -- they're not taught
to please themselves."

The above type of idiocy is pure provocation.  To replace a perfectly normal
discussion of Gasoline Prices with this utterly insane garbage, stifles
intelligent intercourse. And the worst thing about it is that, if anyone takes
her to task for this ignorant, offensive, and provocative action.....Amero will
first accuse them of all manner of harassment, and then complain to their
employers and ISP's.  Don't think I'm kidding....This is the reason why Amero
has so many people on usenet working toward getting her access removed.  They've
been victims of this type of crap.  She's called my ISP several times in the
past week, claiming that I "invaded her privacy".  Fortunately, My ISP realises
that there is no privacy on Usenet, and advised her, in effect, to stay out of
the kitchen if she couldn't take the heat.  I understand that she also made
those same complaints to the RCMP, which is proof positive that this woman's
dementia makes her a danger to anyone to whom she takes exception.

As a further example, I made a post a week or two back, in which I gave a
statistic concerning Amero's Obsessive Compulsive behaviour.  Some six or seven
months ago, using the same tactics described above, she managed to have another
man's usenet posting abilities severely limited, by complaining to his employer.
He was forbidden by that employer to post into any thread in which Amero was
present.  My statistic was a very simple one. It showed that in the 38 days
preceding my post, Amero had publicly mentioned this man by name 38 times. She
brought up his name in any post she happened to be composing, regardless of the
subject. And he's been gone from the group, forbidden to respond to this crap
for the past six months. And he's not the only one. 

No, Sheila.  Killfiling isn't the answer.  Not in a case such as this. And
ignoring this ignorant woman is just as impossible, for the same reasons as I've
just stated.

That's exactly what's happening.  And I'd encourage anyone insulted, harassed,
or attacked by this woman, in any way at all, to complain to her ISP right away.
Prevention is a necessity here, and the complaints should be sent to her ISP
before her complaints reach the employers of unsuspecting users.

Again, no argument there.  Each one of us may frequently appear obnoxious and
offensive to some readers. Some of us may give that impression frequently, and
to many readers.  And the odd few are constantly obnoxious and offensive to
everyone. But anyone who tries to attack other users' employment, or their
professional reputations, over a usenet squabble, is not acting as you recommend
in your post, and their ability to continue these actions should be removed.
