MCSNet is pleased to announce that we have activated a free Fax service which
will reach fax machines in the 312, 773, 847, 708, and 630 area codes.

This service is a part of the "TPC.INT" email/fax gateway initiative. More
information on the service, including instructions for its use, can be found
at http://www.tpc.int. Transmissions can be made using any standard Email
package, or client software available for Windows machines permitting
direct transmission.

Example:

You wish to send a fax to "630 555-1212", with the name "George Public"
and "Room 103" on the cover page.

You would send to:
	remote-printer.George_Public/Room_103@2.1.2.1.5.5.5.0.3.6.1.tpc.int

Note the following rules:

1)	You must include "remote-printer." in front of the name (TPC is
	working on removing this requirement)

2)	"_" characters are turned into spaces when the cover page is
generated. The Slash ("/") is turned into a carriage return.
You may use only one SLASH, but any number of underlines.

3)	The phone number is put into international format, REVERSED, and
then separated by dots. Thus, you take
		1 630 555 1212 Number in international format
		2121 555 036 1 Number, reversed
		2.1.2.1.5.5.5.0.3.6.1	In DNS format

4)	The system then routes the mail automatically to the appropriate
server, where it is formatted into a fax and sent to the recipients
fax machine. There is coverage available in many cities around the
world; this is NOT limited to the Chicagoland area by any means.

The system can, in addition to text, handle MIME files which contain
Postscript image data (if your mailer is capable of generating them).

This service is capacity controlled to ward off abuse. MCSNet reserves the
right to block originating hosts or domains which attempt to evade those
capacity controls or otherwise abuse our free fax gateway service.

Enjoy!
