Problem with a PC VGA monitor

I have a Princeton Graphics VGA monitor that has recently started to act
strangely. The image (no matter if it's text mode or X graphics mode)
is fuzzy, almost a "double image", similiar to a slight ghost image one
might get on a television. My question is what piece might be the
culprit. The monitor? The card? Or the cable?

If it's the monitor, is this something that would be worth exploring getting
repaired rather than looking at a new monitor.

Thanks for you help,

The solution as pointed out via Email by Julius C. Chang is to adjust a well
hidden and not externally accessable knob called "FOCUS". The knob has screw
slots in the top so it can be mistaken for a fastener at first glance.

I feel a little stupid,
