BSDI, the product, is an excellent pay-for port of (basically) BSD 4.4, with
some nice added functionality, to the 386/486 architecture. BSDI Inc. is the
company that makes BSDI, the product. Mr. Kolstand is head of BSDI, Inc.
Mr. Kolstad is saying that any academic computing organization (in good
standing presumably) can obtain a copy of BSDI for their use by filling out
the posted form and returning it to him.
