If a worker can handle an eight hour workload in a four hour work schedule then someone is getting cheated. I remember back in the eighties when there was a popular and semi-profitable retail chain here where the union workers were making three times as much as the non-union workers in other similar retail outlets. These union workers striked for more pay, more benefits and less work. The retail chains went out of business and the union workers were without a job. GM workers are among the highest paid laborers. Their greed and laziness have blinded their sight to the good positions they have. If they don't open their eyes GM should move out and let this place rot like Detroit.
