I'm posting this for a friend who would like more information
on the current state of the art of virtual reality.
I told him that I heard of a local nightclub that has a VR
video game, but I can't remember the nightclub's name or
location. Can anybody help me out here?
He would like to know where he could go to see some true VR
demos in action (besides the video game). He says he's
willing to drive as far as Chicago to catch one. Also, if
you know the names and/or addresses of institutions that are
developing VR applications, he'd like to know that, too.
Please email any info you have to me. I'll see that it gets
forwarded to him. I there is enough interest, I will summarize
the info in a follow-up.
Thanks in advance.

It has come to my attention that the address in my reply-to header and
.sig may not work due to some configuration changes. If replies fail, try
wehr@fmsrl7.srl.ford.com --or-- wehr@edi.com
Or, if all else fails, don't hesitate to post.
Thanks again.

The nightclub in question is INDUSTRY in Pontiac , Michigan. I don't know how long virtual reality is going to be there, but it costs $5.00 per game. The night I was there is was extremely crowded, I felt like a sardine. THe line for the virtual reality simulator was long, and I didn't get a chance to play it. Scott Almburg
