Yes, I agree Deep Space 9 might have show in Jackson on channel 50. That is not WKBD TV Detroit however. I would have to guess that its the channel 47 from Lansing that your system got it from. People in our area see 50 from Detroit on cable 14. I know that you probably saw it but, the FOX 50 station has not shown it. I spoke with the director of programming/and Colunbia Cable today as well . >> A side note: TV Stations keep logs...50 in Detroit WKBD shows no entry in the 8-10pm slot last night. Again Columbia cable TV subs and people in the Detroit area will see the first Deep Space Nine Show this Sunday at 3pm. -- Joseph Stroup

My point is it was on channel 50 Monday night, 8 to 10 p.m.

In this case, the closer areas (I think) got a hockey game. We did not. We saw "Deep Space 9". I'm more than happy to sum up the plot for those who still do not believe it was on. Let Dave send you copies for further proof.

If you're getting it by broadcast or by cable around the Detroit/Ann Arbor area, you're getting the actual broadcast. But WKBD sells their signal all over the US and Canada -- they're not quite a superstation, but they do have lots of customers outside of the actual broadcast area. Those customers get their feed from satellite, which is sometimes a different feed from the broadcast. This is particularly true if the item being fed is something of regional relevance (specialty shows), a sports event which may "trespass" on another teams broadcast zone, etc. -- "You can't get here from here."
