Just occured to me that I don't have a clue as to who's speaking or
how much money was raised by the bank of SEMiSLUG. Could some kind
soul care to fill me in?

No, no, never! It's MINE, all MINE!!! Hahahahahahahahahaa . . .

But seriously . . . the first national bank of semislug started with
about $38.00 from me. We collected a little over $50.00 at the first
meeting, so I took back a little bit of my $38.00. And there are
still two bags of cans to return (about $4.00). Assuming things
continue in this vein, in about two more meetings I'll be paid back.
I'd be more exact on all the numbers, but everything is in a drawer
at work.

Several people asked for better pop and cookies (what? you mean
Oreos aren't the food of the gods?) Fine by me, round about October
we can afford it. I'll take votes in the next passing of the hat.
