  Although I don't think he has the fax/modems, karl@genesis.mcs.com did
torture test them on his system. He found them good enough that he has a
whole bunch of lines using them.

  The only 'bug' I found was in trying to force a specific connection
speed. I have a Courier v32bis, and was using the &N8 command to force a
14400 connection (for awhile, he had a Telebit T2500 at the tail end of the
hunt.) The Paradyne's wouldn't connect. They would connect if I tried
forcing a 4800 or 9600. 7200, 12000 and 14400 wouldn't work. Since he moved
the Telebit off the hunt, I just use the normal &N0 and hope I never have a
bad connection at the start.

  I get a nice 1600+ cps using UUCP 'G' (512x7) for newsfeed transfers.
