Anyone own a Computer Medic computer? I was in there the other day
and had a look at their stuff. The prices seem to be in the range of
the mail order folks, but buying from a local dealer appeals to me.

They use a chipset I've never heard of, and would be leary of using. I think
it was 'Via' or somesuch. Of course their technical competence is unrivaled.
Before they carried 50mhz machines, I asked them why they didn't. The
salesman explained to me that the "fast electrons" used in the 50mhz machines
wouldn't stay on the circuit traces (he claimed the electrons go shooting off
into space instead of turning the corners).
