EXTDEF records or alternative assemblers?

Hi all

I am trying to produce an object module (Win32) where each external
function has its own EXTDEF record instead of them all being grouped
into a single one.

Both MASM (6.11) and TASM (5.0) seem to group all 15 of my externals
into a single EXTDEF record inside the object module, but
unfortunately the language I am trying to link to (Clarion 4 - don't
ask why!) does not seem to be able to process multiple externals
inside a single EXTDEF record. Examination of the obj's produced by
the Clarion compiler would seem to confirm this.

My question is, can either MASM or TASM be made to work in the way I
need, or can I change my source code (currently I have 15 lines each
containing 'extern function etc', or is there another assembler I
could use?

Thanks in advance
