Hi All,

Non-Delphi Specific:
Did anybody experiecned this error message? I am unable to simulate
it. But it happens when there are a lot of connected users. And 'Call
Time (ms)' in the Component Services Explored keep on increasing for
one of the components, I had watched it for more then 40 minutes.

Also, what is the meaning of 'Objects' column in the 'Status view' of
Component Services MMC view expolre for components. It becomes '1'
when my client connects to a component and become zero when I close my
client (For Delphi users when I close my form connected to this
component or RDM).

Delphi Specific:
Setup:
Delphi 6.0 with D6_RTL and other patches, Windows2K with SP2 plus pre
SP3 and pre SP4 patches, dual CPU machine, pooled object with a pool
limit of 10, clients are Win32 client in the same NT domain.

Architecture:
We are using typical MIDAS architecture. TDCOMConnection and
TClientDataset on the client and Provider and ADODataSet on the server
side. Most of the client forms has nested dataset but only one
provider. We also have some global data in the COM+ dll (I had checked
all the places, it is protected using the CRITICAL_SECTION). No MTS
transaction support.

Now I am having this error randomly. I do not know what may be the
source. I do not have a clue. I doubt that there is some contention
for global data or some issue in pool managemnet under MTS.

Rgds,
rsKathait
