Tiny DBF indexer needed

Is there a tiny (20-100KB) program that indexes DBFs using the CDX
format, out there, that I am missing?
It should be in the vicinity as FoxPro 2.6 which indexes a 35,000 record
DBF with 9 indexed fields in less than 45 seconds.
It doesn't have to be in xBase or Pascal, it can be in C, C++.

Thanks in advance.

The CodeBase 5.0 C/C++ library API could be used to develop a very simple
C program that would index a DBF. The API is relatively simple and it
supports FoxPro's CDX format.. I believe it is by Sequiter Software Inc.
