I'm trying to use a DLL created with BC5.02 in a VC++ project. I've run the impdef command to create a def file. Then I ran Microsoft's 'lib' proggy as "lib \DEF:myfile.def \MACHINE:IX86" This created a .lib file. I'm getting a link error, "unresolved external symbol __declspec(dllimport) int __cdecl minus(int,int)....." which is the name of the function in the DLL I'm trying to use. I've tried adding the .lib file to my project with the same result. I've also put the .lib files path in the "Additional library path" field in the project settings. And I've added the .lib file to the library modules field. I think I'm still missing something in the project settings, but I don't know what it is. I don't know my way around VC that well. Any help is much appreciated. -- Rod Brick PSW Technologies Austin, Texas http://www.psw.com
