I just downloaded NetBeans ver 2.0 Beta 3 and have had some interesting
results. First of all, running the program takes my System and GDI
resources to 23 %. I have a pent. 233 with 64 M Ram. The program is
very slow. Even worse, when I close the program, the System and GDI
resources only rebound to 80$. VisualAge Java ver 1 runs easily on my
system. I haven't read the release notes yet so maybe there is a fix,
but my first impression is that this is a very resource hungry
application with a big leak (no... not Java) in it somewhere.
