I am looking for some advice. Which is better, Micro$oft's Visual J++ or Borland's JBuilder? and what makes it more better? -----== Posted via Deja News, The Leader in Internet Discussion ==----- http://www.dejanews.com/rg_mkgrp.xp Create Your Own Free Member Forum

JBuilder 2.0 without the slightest doubt. For one thing it has a far better IDE and visual modeler, for another it supports both JDK 1.1 and the 1.2 beta (while J++ 1.1 does not even truly support 1.1). But most of all because JBuilder generates Java code whereas J++ (any version) tries to lock you into MSes non-compatible version of Java. If you want to generate Java code, J++ is not the right tool, it's a non-Java compatible Java IDE ! -Mike
