Deferred send in Outlook

Does anybody know how to defer sending messages in Outlook
until a user has established an internet connection?
I am creating e-mail messages using OLE automation -
essentially just empty messages with attachments
containing some data.
When I call MailItem.Send, everything works fine if connection
is alive, however if there is no connection, Windows tries
to dial to the PPP server, which brings lots of dialog boxes.
Not exactly what I need :(
How can I find out if there is no connection and tell
Outlook to defer sending the messages until there is one
_without_any_ interaction with a user.

  I'd appreciate any suggestions,

Dmitry

Dmitry,

It sounds like your user has his Internet connection set to a LAN
connection. I've got mine set that way so that Outlook will send mail
immediately, but if it's set to MODEM then the mail should just sit in the
Outbox without all the notification dialogs.
