This is a really neat one. I seem to remember Arthur Daly trying something
like this, in an old episode of Minder. He ran his version from a 
telephone box (low office overheads :-).

He advertised "guaranteed" racing tips - if you didn't win, you didn't 
have to pay anything. Sounds fair, doesn't it.

All he did was wait in the phone box for calls, and read out a different 
likely horse to each caller. Provided he got a reasonable number of calls,
he was certain to make a profit.

And his calls were local rate for most of his (London) customers :-)

Not, of course, that I am insinuating Derek Robinson's advertisement is in
any way shady - a serious con-person would surely have omitted the typos :-)
