*VERY* interesting!  Sounds more like BBS *BACKSTABBING* to me.

Talk about *childish*...   I've been out of the BBS scene since I got
UNIX-ized at the U. of WI (Milwaukee) about six years ago, but I remember
all the petty disputes.  I s'pose some of them might even think that sort
of bickering is *fun*, but *I* sure don't.

Evidently, the publisher of that list doesn't have enough confidence in
his/her own abilities, nor in the attractiveness of their BBS, to risk
informing the users that there *might* be a better BBS out there somewhere.

If competition is that stiff, maybe one (or both) of the BBSs should try to
do something *UNIQUE* for a change, since they're both probably offereing
exactly the same services anyway!  All it will take is a *difference*.
