Hi!

I've been ripped off by a guy in New York.  I have part of his name,
Portang.

his email is portang@ibm.net

is there any way to get information on an ibm.net account?  i get
"unknown host" when I try to finger it.

the company name on the cancelled check I got back is:
Quotel Systems Research
230 Park Avenue
Suite 1000
New York, NT  10169

if anyone reading this has one of those national directories on cdrom,
maybe you can look up the company or name?

the check sent to me is a Citibank check, and I called them & all the
lady would tell me is that the account is valid, but it does not have
enough funds to cover the $120 the check is written for.

i have a number for the guy (2126148475) but it is a cell number.

I called Manhatten directory assistance (212 area code), but they
had no listing for "Quotel" or "Portang".

What should I do?
