Word of advice for anyone seeking service on Thermador appliances in the Dallas area; STAY AWAY FROM PUGH APPLIANCE. Earlier this year I had a minor problem with a Thermador Oven (temperature was off a bit). The repair tech from Pugh broke the control panel in the process of fixing the original problem. The oven wouldn't function at all after he broke the panel. Anyway he said he'd be out with a new panel the next day. No one called or visited the next day, so I called Pugh and first they wanted me to pay for the new panel, then they state it would be 2-3 weeks. Their main excuse was an ongoing inventory, but what really got me was that I got the distinct impression that they could care less that we'd be without an oven for a few weeks because of their mistake. Earlier this month the illuminated time and oven temp. part of the panel started to dim to the point where you couldn't read it. Turns out the part that Pugh installed was refurbished. After a few calls to Thermador, I've got them to cover replacing the control panel and I've meet a far superior service company: Alltex/Parker Mechanical. It is almost obscene to compare Alltex and Pugh, Alltex is that much better. Moral of the story stay away from Pugh Appliance and use Alltex/Parker Mechanical .
