I just purchased a Whirlpool 11,200 BTU Air Conditioner at Lowes. It is
oversized, but runs very little. It has a remote control and Energy Saver
Function. It is Quiet and was easy to install. Paid $268.00. It comes in
7,800 and 10,000 BTU. I saw that the 7,800 BTU was $238.00.

You won't get much dehumidification that way! Dehumidification is one thing
that can make a room really comfortable to be in without having to freeze
your [parts] off.
