It goes without saying, or should, that there are exceptions 
and degrees when large classes of people are considered.  Then
again, depending on the group in question, those degrees may be
small and those exceptions, few and far between.

Why does going to a cafeteria-style restaurant preclude eating
healthily?  That's where selection comes in.

Or older women to dress in pastel-colored stretch pants and
floral-print bouses.

Ever noticed that when old men drive, they tend to steer with
their hands together at the top of the wheel and their elbows
