Here's a strange one, I got one of those "scratch off to find your discount" game pieces at the Champs Sports store at the mall yesterday. On the back, is the following: CANADA RESIDENTS ONLY must answer the following question in order to receive any prize or discount. 12x10+243-15 = _______ Now, I am thoroughly confused. Is there some Canadian law which requires that a non-trivial math problem must be solved in order to win a contest prize? Sadly, I know that there are many people in the US who would have trouble solving that question. Oh, and the form also says that it is void in Quebec, I assume that's because it is only in English and not in French. As an aside, does anyone else really hate these scratch off things that you can't reveal until you are in the store? I notice on some of them, the rules state that in certain states you ARE allowed to scratch and reveal the prize area before going to the store. This is a law that I would love to see other states enact. Bill
