Try getting a Diner's Club card instead. They have a "Le Card" program which is essentially the same idea, but it really does work, is with the card issuer, I have had ZERO problems with it, and the discount includes booze, tax and tip in the total. The charge shows up on your bill, with a second line item directly below it showing the discount. Further, the actual charge amounts are bonused through Diner's "club points" program which can be redeemed for frequent flyer miles. Nice program. I highly recommend it; credit for pointing this one out to me goes to Star. One note - Diner's is like Amex; its a *charge* card, not a credit card. You pay at the end of every month. It also carries an annual fee, but that's no big deal given the amount of use I put on it. -- -- Karl Denninger (karl@MCS.Net)| MCSNet - The Finest Internet Connectivity Modem: [+1 312 248-0900] | (shell, PPP, SLIP, leased) in Chicagoland Voice/Fax: [+1 312 248-8649] | 5 POPs throughout the area, all 28.8 equipped MCSNet is a CIX Member | Email to "info@mcs.net" for a more information Ask about "MCSNet Rewards" | WWW: http://www.mcs.net, gopher: gopher.mcs.net
