Which reminds me: I saw a hydrogen-fueled bus on the freeway in San Jose a few weeks ago. It was one of those buses with the exhaust pipe up at roof level, and the first thing I noticed was the big white plume of vapor coming out of it. Something I've never seen addressed by proponents of hydrogen fuel is what the effect of hundreds of thousands of vehicles pumping that amount of water vapor into the atmosphere of a major urban area would be.
