Look, as a practical matter, if you don't want to show me your receipt, you don't get a refund. Company policy, same as at Best Buy. And our company reserves the right to refuse *any* refund, same as at Best Buy. We sell items that, once installed, may not be refunded. Exchanged under an applicable warranty, sure, but not refunded. And yet we get those who buy one of these items on spec, then whine about not being able to return it when it doesn't solve their problem. BTW, I stopped by a couple of Best Buy stores today to see for myself if their refund policies are posted. Indeed they are, on a great big sign hanging above the customer service desk, quite visible and readable in both English and Spanish. One store had smaller versions of this sign at each customer service station; the other had the smaller versions at each cash register. So, with all due respect, I'm not buying any allegations that these policies are kept from the consumer. (For the record, the two stores are in Bloomington and Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.) >>You see, I am the guy behind the counter. > > >>Try being the guy behind the counter.
