UNIX/C DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT REDESIGN (reference DJ9081-N)
(contract)

This challenging assignment will involve analysis and then redesign of a  
development environment used by several large teams developing telecom  
business applications. The candidate will have to (1) analyze the existing  
development environment and the processes in place; (2) evaluate  
development tools (i.e. source control systems, libraries, middleware  
products, etc.) available on the market; (3) select the most appropriate  
products;  (4) implement the solution. Current environment: Unix (mainly  
Sun Solaris), DB (mainly Sybase), "C". The length of this project is expected  
 
 
 
 
 
 
to be at least 6 month. Ideal candidate for this assignment will be a senior  
C/Unix designer/developer.
