I'd like to announce a new site.  I have always been interested in the arts and
creative endevours.  So I went searching the net for areas of interest.  I
found much and I created one resource myself.  I created an online magazine
called "Word Salad" - the name came to me from a term in psychiatry used
to describe the thought patterns of some persons with schizophrenia.

This venture has grown tremendously.  In the past two months we have
been getting 4X the number of visits to the site and 4X the number of poetry
submissions from the previous 2 months.  We take original poetry for publication
via email to: whealton@interpath.com
What I found on the net I have been adding to my page called "The Reader's,
Writer's and Creative Mind's Home."  Ok the name could be better but the 
content is even more interesting today than it was yesturday.  I have links to
resources for writers.  I have links to sites dedicated to the dark side of the web, to
horror sites, to fantasy and sf, and to fiction sites.  I have links to online
thesaurus/dictionary/encyclopedia.  I have links to poetry related sites, including
a workshop type sites and a site where one can add a line to an growing poem.
I have a link to sites where you can write an epitaph for a loved one;  I even
have a pet cemetery.  You can get a word a day.  You can find MPEG's of various
creative endevours.  There are online catalogs of etexts at this site.  Also,
I have an online forum for the discussion of anything related to what I have
mentioned above.
