As somebody whose aunt and uncle are horse nuts, whose second cousin
is a rabbit breeeder, and whose close friend used to breed Cairn
Terriers and Cocker Spaniels, let me tell you a bit about the idiocy
of this article.

Most purebred racehorses, as with most purebred dogs, are "fast" or
"slow" (or any other quality used to describe the breed as
specifically different from another) because OF race mixing. Read any
manual for horse breeders or dog breeders. All that has been done is a
bit of playing god on the human side and sex drive on the animal side.
Spherical rabbits don't occur in nature, nor do bulldogs traditionally
mate with poodles. People have taken animals with slight genetic
predisposition towards a characteristic, breeded them with another of
its species from someplace else with other characteristics, and
intensely inbreed the result.

Many of these spectacularly-fast (or fluffy, or whatever they were
bred for) animals are so inbred that they are extremely stupid, have
short life spans, and perhaps are the sole normal result of their
litter, having been lucky enough not to be missing a testicle or have
a deformed intestine. Of course, now the standards have been relaxed
and these deformities occur less, but you can still find plenty of
deals on one-eyed terriers. The purebred puppies and horses you can
buy today are much healthier and much less inbred than those of even
twenty years ago, but they are still generally shorter-lived and less
intelligent than mutts.

Humans have less "genetic variety" than dogs or horses. Less than 1%
of our DNA differs from human to human, and much of that does not even
affect racial characteristics. If you make "purebred" people with this
same method, the results would be disgusting. So much inbreeding with
so little genetic variety would make a retarded, deformed human
(although just maybe one very good runner in the mix).

Hmmm.... Retarded, deformed human.... Sounds to me like the trolls who
believe that racist tripe.
