Hello,

A friend of mine is interested in the way penmanship is taught to children.
He wants to know about the method that involves printing the letters on a
grid, where each letter is confined to different areas (I vaguely recall doing
this in elementary school).  Does someone know the name for this method??
Can you suggest some references??
