Did once..   cat on a weak limb...  hooked the limb with a pike pole and
pulled it close to the ground.  Cat jumped off, hit the ground running..
Leapt over the fence and into the backyard....

Never saw the three German Shepard's that lived there..   NOT a pretty
site..  we left it for the animal control officer to clean up..

Did have to set up an aerial to fetch a Golden Macaw that had escaped from
his owner.. Damn think almost took my finger off on the way down..  Bird
ALMOST made it to the ground before I did..  the hard way..   (no stitches,
but did need a tetanus booster)
