Jack, sounds interesting, but I think you are WAY over fair market value
on this system. Note: Yamaha CDR100 (as above) $1369.00
Adaptec Dedicated SCSI Adapter (bus Mastering) $ 199.00
	Corel CD-Creator 2.0 for Mac AND Wintel $ 149.00
	10 recordable discs @ $6.99 each $ 70.00
							_________
	Grand Total: $1787.00

These are prices published on ARA Ltd's Web Site and are for NEW
equipment. So, I am no making this up. Also note: This unit has only
a 512K buffer so you are almost promised to have problems recording
unless you have the Adaptec Dedicated SCSI Adapter (or similar) in
addition to at least a 1.2 GB dedicated AV rated Harddrive. Given your
price, someone is looking at spending at least $3.5 grand to get up and
running. So on the assumption that this is not a new unit any
reasonable offer would start near $1,200.00 for the lot...and that
includes shipping. Further note: that is less than half of your asking
price. On the assumption that this is a new unit then a reasonable
offer would start near $1,500.00. Remember: Fair market value is
reflected by what others are selling the equipment for...not what you
may have paid for the unit. If I am missing something that would make
this system worth the extra $1,200.00 then please feel free to drop me a
line...as I am in the market for a Yamaha CDR100.
