Let me know if you are | interested." from Prism Imaging. | GET REAL!! Such ridiculous offers are not only laughable, they are | insulting. They aren't THAT unreasonable. On the cheap side, possibly, but insulting ?!? Tell you what: Next time you ask for REASONABLE offers, and find yourself unwilling to just ignore unreasonable offers, define explicitly what you mean by reasonable - for example, "or, make an offer of at least $500 for the pair". Personally, if I see somebody selling something, and it's something I'm interested in, and they're asking people to make an offer, I'll make an offer of what I think it's worth to me. This offer may or may not be enough for the seller, but I'm not holding a gun to his head and telling him he has to accept my offer, either. If they are asking more than I'm willing to pay, I'll offer less - if they find somebody willing to pay what they're asking, good for them! If not, they may (or may not) find my offer appealing ... either way, I certainly don't get upset about it, and neither should the seller. Disclaimer: I am not one of the individuals who made offers for his memory. I think I already have enough memory :) -- For further information, please e-mail the Department Of Useful Guidelines on Modern Communications (DOUGMC).
