I am interested in buying used, refurbed, or discontinued Compaq
high-end workstations and servers, preferably in rackmount
configurations.

I am ONLY interested in high end hardware that has at mininum Ultra
Wide SCSI disks and Windows NT pre-installed. The system should have
at minimum 64 megs of EDO or SDRAM memory, factory installed by Compaq
(i.e., no third-party memory).

If any third party products have been added to the system, or if any
Compaq-issue hardware has been removed, you need to clearly identify
each instance where this has been done on the system you are selling.

I'm interested in special situations like refurbs, auctions,
bankruptcies, discontinued product lines, inventory reductions, or
used equipment, where I can acquire systems at substantial discounts
to the distributor cost for such equipment when purchased new from
Compaq (around 50% below distributor cost).

I have an ongoing need to purchase the rackmount systems for a large
web server farm, so if you think you may have some in the future
please keep my post and contact me when you are ready to sell.

You will need to manually change my reply e-mail address to westes AT
uscsw.com
