i have a handheld VCR+ unit which controls both the vcr and cable
box. it is working fine except the lcd display is dying. many segments
don't show up so it is hard to read it. gemstar is not making them
anymore. i am still using it as that vcr is an older one without the
feature. most new vcr's have this built in (some vcr's like a sony i
own, have mice to control the cable box). i want to buy a replacement
for the remote i have. are there any out there? i am hoping someone has
one they don't need anymore since they got a new vcr which has the vcr+
built in.

please email responses as i have crossposted to groups i don't read to
get a wider coverage. tell me what you have and a price.

thanx,

uri
