I'm not suing for big money. Its just that I'm not going to spend alot
of money bringing my interpreter to every doctor I visit. I have
medical bills to pay also. Doctors can receive tax credit for
providing disability access aids and services so why don't they take
advantage of this if they do really care for their patients?

Is just because they refuse to abide by the ADA law? Yes, and you are
right, this country needs help... we need stricter ADA law so that
these doctors WILL be enforced to abide by it. Too many deaf people
are suffering from lack of reasonable accommodations, and I'm sure
many of them are not willing to see their doctors often because of
this. This happens to me too. I've tried paper writing but I feel this
is not effective enough for me. It is time consuming and cumbersome to
write notes. And some doctors are not patient with writing note. So,
less note, poor medical care.

With interpreter, I can communicate freely and effectively. I feel I
get better medical care this way.
