I had posted a question about singles activities for people who cannot go
outside on ba.singles.  For whatever reason, it evoked a particularly
hostile response.  It's curious that this would happen on a ba group, given
that the bay area considers itself liberal and progressive.  How has the
reception in other communities been?

I've posted similar questions to ba.singles before and noticed the same kind
of attitude.  I am not the person they seem to be thinking of, though.
