     The first two paragraphs of Press Release GA/EF/2390, issued
     today, should read as follows:

     The General Assembly would request the Secretary-General to give
     wide distribution to the 1989 World Survey on the Role of Women
     in Development, and urge Governments to take the Survey's
     recommendations into account in designing national policies,
     under a 12-Power draft resolution introduced this morning by
     Finland, in the Second Committee (Economic and Financial).

     On behalf of the "Group of 77" developing countries, Malaysia
     introduced a draft text by which the Assembly would call upon
     all States to implement the Charter of Economic Rights and
     Duties of States, in order to contribute to the effective
     restructuring of the international economic system and the
     revitalization of the developing countries' growth.
