Those who wish to fund the development of "food pyramids" are welcome to fund such efforts, read the books of these kind of people, etc. And those who prefer to eat certain kinds of foods are free to do so. But government has no business, no constitutional right (in the U.S.), to use tax monies to fund food advocacy of any sort. This means government is misusing our taxes any time it develops recommended menus, food pyramids, food hexagrams, whatever. Though they like pork, they should "pork butt out." (And, yes, I think those who willingly use our tax money for non-legitimate purposes should be marched into rendering tanks. There are four to five times more people worthy of extermination than were in Europe 70 years ago. Washington needs to be exterminated, along with several other major nests of thieves.) --Tim May
