This is nonsense. The children go right back to their segregated
neighborhoods after school. Their encounter with other races is
limited only to school. Neighborhoods do NOT become more racially
mixed because no one moves from their neighborhood. That is why
FORCED bussing is required. When the children go home, you can
be sure that they are hearing the some old stuff about "lazy niggers".
The downside of forced bussing is you get racially motivated
cliques in schools that hate each other. People who would never
encounter each other are now in a position to knive each other.
This rosy scenario about forced bussing is so much wishful thinking.
It is a justification for doing something that is of questionable
benefit to the children. All it really does is benefit private
schools as many parents decide that they will make that extra
sacrifice to get their children a BETTER education in a private
school.
