Here's some "Packer bait". In San Diego I woke up at 4:31 because the
closet doors rattled a few seconds. That's it. No electricity outage
at all. I was awakened again a couple hours later by a phone call from
a frantic relative back east wondering if we were OK. That's the first
I knew it wasn't a normal little rumble. We're probably 120 - 150 miles
from the epicenter.

Disclaimer: Our power is supplied by SDG&E (as in San Diego) and I
sleep on a waveless waterbed.
