Until I can read a print account of the latest White House Shooting, I'm in the dark as to what CONUS is. That legend appeared in the corner of the screen during video footage that was broadcast on all networks. Looking forward to learning how CONUS just happened to be on the scene at the right time...but not a moment too soon. They apparently turned their camera on the scene about five seconds before the shooting. So far, I haven't seen any network show any footage before that time, supposed competitive pressures notwithstanding.
