THe actual Name is Conus. You MisSpelled it. It doesn't mean anything. It's a proper name. Conus is a News service for the Continental US. If it were the Acronym, it would be CONUS. They liked the acronym and made it into a proper name Conus news services. THey provide subscription news service, natural sound and video, press coverage, etc on a feeder basis for small news stations across the united states, who then put on their own anchors to fake interviews with the president, or cover footage of DC area events etc..... I imagine they were getting ready to produce some live footage at the white house to support some story or other, and they just got lucky. it happens. And seeing as they hand't pre-sold the story, or it was a live feed, no-one had time to remove the Conus overlays. -- Call me Ishmael -- Herman Melville
